For nearly 50 years, Chicago's arts community has come to LCA for free legal advice on the legal issues that artists face. LCA's LawSmarts brings our vast legal and business expertise to you in short educational programs and clinics.

Here's how it works

You tell us about your audience - are they musicians, visual artists, writers, dances, etc. We customize a program covering the legal challenges faced by your group. Our lecturers are experienced attorneys who impart practical advice on how to navigate complex legal issues. The result? Artists who are more savvy business people and successful entrepreneurs.
